We whisper solemn prayers into air
And wait for the wind to bear them away
Far where they get caught in butterflies’ wings
And transcend into children’s dreams
Old wishes have been borne away
But remnants return with the rain
And when they fall into receiving fingers
The memory of pain cannot turn
If only the Sun would emerge
From the skies, burn the pain
Let Zephyr blow it further
And further.
